Whitiora undertakes advocacy and advisory functions, as a chargeable service, in the takiwā of Ngāi Tūāhuriri. Whitiora carries a multi-disciplinary staff-base with experience across most major sectors.

Cultural Competency is a Level 1 course consisting of 5 modules. Each module is 3 hours long and is held 2 weeks apart, however this can be customed to your workplace and held there as well.
We work alongside Government agencies, non-profit organisations, or private companies to respond to complex problems that impact on the wellbeing of people and communities. Our team draw on extensive community networks, analytics derived from data and research, and embedded cultural knowledge to support improved decision making that has impact.

Our Te Taumata Tapu o Ngāi Tūāhuriri hold the mauri for the kawa & tikanga o Ngāi Tūāhuriri, this includes conducting cultural ceremonies within our takiwā, including blessings & mihi whakatau.
